DPD Lithuania sends parcels from Lithuania to businesses and homes, to DPD Pickup service points and lockers, and brings customer returns back to you. The fields that every carrier shares are on Carrier credentials.
You do not pick a sender address on this form. Add your addresses under the organization menu → Manage → Addresses. You choose the sender address on each shipment or in a shipping rule. DPD Lithuania ships from an address in Lithuania, and returns come back to one.

Before you start

  • A DPD Lithuania customer account with access to eSiunta, DPD Lithuania’s customer portal. Ask DPD Lithuania’s support team ([email protected]) to link your contract to your eSiunta user. Until they do, DPD refuses your shipments.
  • An API token from eSiunta. Open Token list, create a token and copy it: DPD shows it only once. Leave its validity empty to keep the token until you delete it. Everything sent with the token is invoiced on your DPD account.
  • To use Test mode, a token from DPD’s sandbox eSiunta, which needs its own registration. A live token does not work in the sandbox, and a sandbox token does not work live.
You can connect DPD Lithuania more than once. Give each connection its own Carrier name. Learn more on the card opens DPD Lithuania’s website.

Fields on the form

Connect does nothing until Carrier name and API token have a value. Test mode sends your shipments to DPD’s sandbox. A sandbox token only works with Test mode on, and a live token only with it off. Leave it off for real orders. See Test mode.

After you connect

The carrier appears on My carriers with a Connected badge. You choose the product on each shipment or in a shipping rule, not on this form. See Carrier products and services. A product that is not on your DPD contract is refused when you send, with DPD’s reason. Every DPD Lithuania shipment needs a phone number for both you and the receiver, and every parcel needs a weight. The receiver’s email address is optional in Lithuania, but DPD recommends adding it because it can improve delivery. Labels are A6 PDF, one page per parcel. A name longer than 35 characters is shortened. A street line longer than 35 characters is refused, so shorten it or move the rest to the second address line. Norway, Switzerland and the United Kingdom are not offered. Cash on delivery, Saturday delivery and DPD’s timed 10:00 and 12:00 services are not offered either.

DPD Pickup service points

DPD Pickup delivers to a service point. Choose the service point in the Service point section of the shipment before you send. The search lists DPD service points and lockers in Lithuania near the receiver’s postal code. See Pick a service point and Service points.

Returns

DPD Return brings a parcel from your customer in Lithuania back to your address in Lithuania. Your customer drops it at any DPD Pickup service point, so a return needs no service point on the shipment.

Labels that do not arrive

If DPD accepts a parcel but its label does not arrive, the shipment stays sent. Click Fetch label on the shipment to get the same label. It does not create a second parcel.

Pickups, tracking and customs

  • DPD Lithuania is not available under Pickups. Arrange collections in eSiunta or with DPD Lithuania directly. You cannot set a pickup window on a DPD Lithuania shipment. See Schedule a pickup for the carriers that are.
  • Zippendo fetches tracking updates from DPD about once an hour. There is nothing to set up. A parcel to another country can stop updating once it leaves the Baltic countries. Its Tracking link opens DPD’s tracking page for the rest of the journey. See Carrier tracking webhooks.
  • Every destination is inside the EU, so DPD Lithuania shipments need no customs documents. See Customs and documents.

Change or remove the connection

To change it, open Carriers → My carriers and click Edit carrier on the card. The Edit carrier page has two sections:
  • General: Carrier name, and Brand if your organization has brands.
  • Carrier settings: API token and Test mode.
Click Save. You see “Carrier updated”. When a token expires or you delete it in eSiunta, create a new one and paste it into API token. To remove it, click Delete on the same page, type the carrier name in capital letters, and click Delete. Shipping rules that use this carrier are deleted with it. Shipments you already sent keep their labels and tracking numbers.
