Danske Fragtmænd sends parcels, general cargo and pallets within Denmark: to business and private addresses, to service points, and as customer returns. The fields that every carrier shares are on Carrier credentials.
You do not pick a sender address on this form. Add your addresses under the organization menu → Manage → Addresses. You choose the sender address on each shipment or in a shipping rule. Danske Fragtmænd ships within Denmark only, so the sender and the receiver must both be in Denmark.

Before you start

  • A Danske Fragtmænd agreement. You need your agreement number and the hub the agreement belongs to.
  • An API user for that agreement: an API username and an API password. Danske Fragtmænd’s IT department creates API users on request at [email protected].
  • For Test mode, a separate test API user from Danske Fragtmænd. Your production user does not work in the test system.
You can connect Danske Fragtmænd more than once. Give each connection its own Carrier name. Learn more on the card opens fragt.dk.

Fields on the form

Connect does nothing until Carrier name, API username, API password, Agreement number and Hub have a value. Zippendo saves your details without checking them with Danske Fragtmænd. A mistake shows up the first time you send a shipment. Test mode sends your shipments to Danske Fragtmænd’s test system. A test API user works only with Test mode on, and a production user only with it off. Leave it off for real orders. See Test mode.

After you connect

The carrier appears on My carriers with a Connected badge. You choose the product on each shipment or in a shipping rule, not on this form. See Carrier products and services. A product, goods type or service that is not on your agreement is refused when you send, and the shipment shows Danske Fragtmænd’s reason. Your agreement sets the real weight limits. Every parcel needs a weight. Danske Fragtmænd takes weights in whole kilograms, so Zippendo rounds up: a 2.1 kg parcel is sent as 3 kg. Night delivery, crane delivery, time slots and dangerous goods are arranged with Danske Fragtmænd directly.

Services and extra details

Choose services and fill in the extra details on the shipment or in a shipping rule. Each product lists the ones it offers.

Pakkeshop (service points)

Pakkeshop delivers to a service point. Choose the service point in the Service point section of the shipment before you send. See Pick a service point and Service points.

Returns

Danske Fragtmænd emails the return label to your customer, so a return needs your customer’s email address. Zippendo does not print a return label. To create a return, see Inbound and returns.

Pickups, tracking and customs

  • Danske Fragtmænd is not available under Pickups. See Schedule a pickup for the carriers that are. Instead, every shipment you send is its own pickup order: Danske Fragtmænd picks it up on the day you send it, within the pickup times of your agreement.
  • The shipment form has no Pickup details section for Danske Fragtmænd, so you cannot choose a later day there. A shipment created through the Zippendo API can ask for a later pickup date and a time window.
  • Danske Fragtmænd asks for an end-of-day list in two copies, for the driver to sign at pickup. Zippendo does not print this list, so ask Danske Fragtmænd how to get it for your agreement.
  • Zippendo fetches tracking updates from Danske Fragtmænd about once an hour. There is nothing to set up. The tracking link opens Danske Fragtmænd’s tracking page. See Carrier tracking webhooks.
  • Danske Fragtmænd ships within Denmark only, so no shipment needs customs documents.

Change or remove the connection

To change it, open Carriers → My carriers and click Edit carrier on the card. The Edit carrier page has two sections:
  • General: Carrier name, and Brand if your organization has brands.
  • Carrier settings: API username, API password, Agreement number, Hub, Label size and Test mode.
Click Save. You see “Carrier updated”. To remove it, click Delete on the same page, type the carrier name in capital letters, and click Delete. Shipping rules that use this carrier are deleted with it. Shipments you already sent keep their labels and tracking numbers.
