Shipment statuses
What to do for each status
1
Draft
Open the shipment and apply a shipping rule, or choose the missing service point. The shipment then becomes Pending.
2
Pending
Check the addresses, product and parcels, then click Send shipment to get the label. See Send a shipment. If you do not need the shipment, you can delete it from the Shipments list.
3
Sent, Processing or Partly sent
The shipment is with the carrier or on its way there. Follow it in the Tracking timeline card on the shipment page. You do not need to do anything unless the delivery has to change. Then contact the carrier.
4
On hold
An automation with the action Set shipment on hold put it on hold. Check your automations to see why. The shipment page has no button to release it.
5
Error
Open the shipment and read the red box Shipment failed to send. Fix the problem (for example the address, weight, customs details or carrier credentials), then click Retry sending. When you change an Error shipment, it goes back to Pending and you send it with Send shipment.
6
Cancelled
The shipment is no longer in use. To send the same items, create a new shipment. Cancelling in Zippendo does not tell the carrier, so contact the carrier if a label was already made.
Tracking statuses
After the shipment is sent, Zippendo fetches tracking from the carrier every hour. The Tracking timeline card shows each step on a timeline, and you can filter the Shipments list by Tracking status.
Before the first update arrives, the Tracking timeline card says No tracking updates yet. Zippendo checks with the carrier every hour.
Where you see the status
