An order’s page shows everything you need to ship it: the items, the customer, the shipping address and any shipments it already has. From there you click Create shipment to create a shipment linked to the order.

Opening an order

  1. Click Orders in the sidebar.
  2. Click the order you want, or choose View in the ⋯ menu on its row.
  3. The order’s page opens, titled Order and the order number, with Created on and the date underneath.

What you see on the order

Everything is on one page.
1

Items

Every product on the order with its name, SKU and price, and three counts: Sold, Packed (already in a shipment) and Remaining (still to be shipped). Use it to pack the right products. Edit lets you change the items while the order is not Fulfilled or Cancelled.
2

Shipments

The shipments already created for this order, each with its status, parcels, items and tracking number. Click Details to open a shipment and its labels, or Send to send a shipment that is Pending or Error. With no shipments yet, it says No shipments yet with a Create shipment button.
3

Shipping rule, order and customer

On the right: the Shipping rule card (with Configure to pick a rule), Order information (order number, status, Order channel, External ID and Total amount), Customer information, and the Shipping address, which you can Edit while the order is open.

Creating a shipment from an order

As long as the order is not Fulfilled or Cancelled, you can create a shipment: with Create shipment at the top of the page (when the order has no shipments yet), in the empty Shipments section, or with Add shipment above the order’s shipments.
1

Click Create shipment

The Create shipment window opens. It shows how many items the order has, and Ship to: with the receiver’s name, city and country.
2

Choose the carrier, product and sender address

If the order has a shipping rule, the window uses it for the carrier, product, services and sender address. To choose yourself, click Configure carrier manually instead and pick a Sender address, a Carrier (for example PostNord or GLS) and a Product. Without a rule, you must fill in all three. If the product delivers to a service point, you also choose the service point. The receiver comes from the order’s shipping address.
3

Confirm

Click Create shipment. The new shipment appears under Shipments on the order.
You need at least one connected carrier and one sender address before you can create a shipment. If one is missing, the window says No carriers connected yet or No sender addresses yet. Add one on the Addresses tab in Settings.. See Carriers and Sender addresses.
The shipment is created but not sent yet. Click Send on its card, or Send order at the top of the order, to send it to the carrier and get the label. Then open the shipment with Details to print or download the label. When every shipment on the order has been sent, the order becomes Fulfilled.

Order status and Create shipment

You can only create a shipment when the order is not Fulfilled or Cancelled. If the button is missing, check the order’s status. Once the order has a shipment, the button at the top of the page becomes Send order. Use Add shipment in the Shipments section for another shipment. For what each status means, see Order statuses. The whole page, step by step with screenshots, is in the Orders tutorial.
