Carriers are the companies that move your parcels, such as PostNord, GLS, Bring or DHL Express. In Zippendo, you connect each carrier you have an agreement with. Once a carrier is connected, you can:
  • Send shipments with it and get the label back, on your own agreement with the carrier.
  • Print labels automatically if you use Zippendo Printer.
  • Follow tracking: Zippendo keeps the tracking of each shipment up to date.
  • Use it in shipping rules, so orders get the right carrier, product and services automatically, and your checkout can offer its shipping options.
You can connect several carriers, and the same carrier more than once. Give each connection a name your team recognizes, such as “PostNord Oslo” or “DHL Express”.

Where to find carriers

In the sidebar, click Carriers. The page has two tabs:
The carriers you have connected. Click Edit carrier on a card to change or remove the connection.
If your carrier is not on All carriers, you can ask us to add it under Carrier requests in the sidebar. See Request a carrier integration.

What you need before you connect a carrier

1

Your carrier credentials

Each carrier asks for different details, such as a customer number, an account number or an API key. You get them from the carrier. The form shows exactly which fields that carrier needs, and the guide for each carrier explains them. See Connect a carrier or integration.
2

A sender address

The address printed on your labels as the sender. You do not choose it when you connect the carrier. Add it under the organization menu → Manage → Addresses, and choose it on each shipment or in a shipping rule. See Sender addresses.
After you connect, you can change the name and carrier credentials at any time. Most carriers also have Test mode, which sends shipments to the carrier’s test system while you try things out. See Carrier settings.
