Some carrier products deliver the parcel to a service point, such as a shop or a parcel locker, where the receiver collects it. For those products you choose the service point on the shipment, and the carrier delivers the parcel there instead of to the receiver’s door.

When you can choose a service point

  • The Product you choose must deliver to a service point, for example GLS ShopDelivery or PostNord Mypack Collect. Home-delivery products do not ask for one.
  • When you pick such a product on Create shipment, a Service point card appears.
No Service point card? Then the product delivers to the door. Pick a service point product from the same carrier, or another carrier that has one.

Choose a service point

1

Create or open a shipment

Go to Shipments → Create shipment (or open a Pending shipment). Choose a Carrier and a Product that delivers to a service point.
2

Fill in the receiver

Add the Receiver with street, postal code, city and country code. Zippendo uses this address to find nearby service points. There is no search box.
3

Check the suggestion

The Service point card fills in the closest service point, with its name, address and distance.
4

Pick another one (optional)

Click Change service point. Choose a service point from the list or click its pin on the map, then click Confirm selection.
The service points are found near the receiver’s address. If the suggestions are far away, check the receiver’s postal code and country code.

After you choose one

  • When you send the shipment, the carrier delivers to the service point you chose.
  • The receiver usually gets a message from the carrier when the parcel is ready to collect.
  • The Tracking timeline card shows Ready for pickup when the carrier reports that the parcel is waiting at the service point.
If no service points are found, check the receiver’s address, or check that the product really delivers to a service point. Every field and message: Pick a service point. Which carriers you can connect: Supported carriers.
