Your sender address is the address printed on your labels as the sender. You can also save the addresses where carriers collect parcels (Pickup) and where returned parcels go (Return). A shipping rule needs a sender address, so add one before you create your first rule.

Where to manage them

Click your organization name at the bottom of the sidebar, click Manage, then open the Addresses tab. Here you add and edit your saved addresses.

Add an address

1

Open the form

On the Addresses tab, click Add address.
2

Choose the types

Sender is on already. Also tick Pickup and/or Return if you use this location for those jobs.
3

Enter the address

Search for the address in Search address, or fill in Address line 1, City, Postal code and Country yourself.
4

Add the name and contact details

Enter your Company name (printed on the label as the sender), a Phone number and an Email. Attention contact and Description are optional.
5

Save

Click Create address. The address now appears in the list, and you can pick it on shipping rules, shipments, pickups and order channels.
Every field is explained on Sender, pickup, and return addresses.

Where your addresses are used

  • Shipping rules - every rule has an Address: the sender address for shipments that match the rule. See Shipping rules.
  • Shipments - when you create a shipment, pick a Sender address to fill in the sender, or type the sender yourself.
  • Pickups - when you schedule a pickup, you pick a Pickup address.
  • Order channels - a Default sender address is used for orders that no shipping rule matches.
The Company name is printed on the label, so give every address of the same company the same name. Use the optional Description for your own label, such as “Main warehouse, Copenhagen” or “Returns, Aarhus”. It is never printed or sent to a carrier, and it appears under the company name in the list and wherever you pick an address.

Brands

If your organization uses brands, you can give an address to one brand with the Brand field. Only that brand can then use it. Addresses with No brand (organization-wide) can be used by every brand.

Edit or delete an address

  • Edit - click the address in the list, change any field, and click Update address.
  • Delete - the Delete action in the list does not remove addresses at the moment. To stop using an address, pick a different one on your shipping rules and order channels.

Plan limits

The number of saved addresses depends on your plan: 1 on Free, 5 on Standard, 10 on Growth, and unlimited on Pro and Enterprise. See Pricing and billing.
