About DSV Road
DSV Road is the road freight network of DSV, the Danish transport and logistics group. Through myDSV it carries parcels and pallets between addresses in the EU, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and Norway. For a webshop that sends heavy or bulky goods, or delivers to business customers on pallets, DSV Road covers shipments that are too large for an ordinary parcel network.
Why ship with DSV Road through Zippendo?
Zippendo is a shipping platform for webshops. You connect your own myDSV account once, and from then on your orders become DSV Road shipments without anyone entering them in myDSV by hand. You keep your DSV prices, and DSV keeps invoicing you directly. Zippendo does not resell freight.
Parcels and pallets from your shipping rules
With shipping rules you decide once which orders go as DSV Road Parcel and which as DSV Road Pallet. Each shipment carries DSV's own package types, from colli, cartons and bags to Euro pallets, half pallets and quarter pallets. When an order matches, Zippendo books it with DSV and fetches DSV's label as PDF or ZPL for a thermal printer.
Delivery options for freight
DSV Road offers a delivery notice by email, curbside delivery to a private address, a tail lift at pickup or delivery, insurance and cash on delivery where DSV offers it. DSV Road Pallet adds Euro pallet exchange. A service that is not on your DSV agreement is refused with DSV's reason.
Collection, customs and tracking
DSV collects every shipment as part of the booking, so there is no separate pickup to book. For shipments to or from the United Kingdom, Switzerland or Norway you choose who clears export and import customs. If you add your optional DSV tracking key, Zippendo fetches DSV's tracking updates about once an hour and shows them on the shipment. Without that key, shipments are not tracked in Zippendo.

How do I connect DSV Road to my webshop?
Connect your shop to Zippendo first, then add your DSV Road agreement. Zippendo has ready-made integrations for Shopify and WooCommerce, and any other system can send orders through the API. Your shipping rules then decide which orders go with DSV Road, alongside carriers like PostNord, GLS and DAO on the same platform. See all integrations for the full list.
You need a myDSV login that DSV has enabled for API access, your 10-digit DSV customer number (MDM), and subscriptions on developer.dsv.com to Fetch DSV Access token, Booking and Labels, plus Tracking if you want your shipments tracked. A Road product code and a myDSV template are optional, and DSV asks you to tell your DSV contact in writing that Zippendo sends shipments on your behalf. The DSV Road setup guide in our docs walks through every field.
