Do I need my own DSV XPress agreement?

Yes. Zippendo uses your own DSV XPress account and your own DSV rates. We don't resell freight, so the shipping invoice keeps coming from DSV.

Which countries can I ship to with DSV XPress?

Air Express and Economy deliver worldwide. DSV XPress Parcels delivers within Europe, and the GLS ParcelShop product delivers in Denmark. Which lanes and partner carriers you get depends on your DSV agreement.

Can my customers choose a GLS ParcelShop at checkout?

Yes, for DSV XPress Parcels to GLS ParcelShop in Denmark. Shopify live checkout rates and the Zippendo WooCommerce plugin show nearby GLS ParcelShops, and the order arrives with the one the customer chose.

Do I need to book a pickup for DSV XPress?

No. DSV arranges the collection from your pickup address with each shipment. If you take the parcels to the carrier yourself, tick Drop off at the carrier on the shipment.

Does DSV XPress support cash on delivery?

Yes. Cash on delivery is available on Air Express, Economy and Parcels, with the amount and currency set on the shipment.

When can I start shipping with DSV XPress?

As soon as DSV has approved your Booking - XPress subscription. Create a Zippendo account, add your DSV XPress keys, and your shipping rules can book DSV XPress shipments from the first order.

About DSV XPress

DSV XPress is the express and parcel service of DSV, the Danish transport and logistics group. DSV does not run its own parcel fleet for it: each parcel goes with one of DSV's partner carriers, such as UPS, FedEx or GLS, on your DSV rates, and the label you print is that carrier's. It covers air express and economy delivery worldwide, road parcels within Europe, and collections from abroad that are delivered to you.

Why ship with DSV XPress through Zippendo?

Zippendo is a shipping platform for webshops. You connect your own DSV XPress account once, and from then on your orders become DSV XPress shipments without anyone typing addresses into the XPress portal. You keep your DSV rates, and DSV keeps invoicing you directly. Zippendo does not resell freight.

Express, economy and road parcels from one connection

With shipping rules you decide once which DSV XPress product an order should use, for example Air Express for urgent orders, Economy for orders that can wait, and Parcels for road delivery within Europe. Air Express can deliver by 9:00, 10:30 or 12:00 and on Saturdays where the lane offers it. When an order matches, Zippendo books it with DSV and you print the label as PDF or ZPL for a thermal printer.

GLS ParcelShops in Denmark at checkout

DSV XPress Parcels to GLS ParcelShop delivers in Denmark to the GLS ParcelShop the receiver chooses. Your Shopify checkout can show live shipping rates from your own shipping rules, including nearby GLS ParcelShops, and the Zippendo checkout plugin adds the same selector to WooCommerce. The order arrives with the shop the customer chose, and Zippendo books the parcel to it.

Collection, customs and tracking

DSV arranges the collection from your pickup address with each shipment, so there is no separate pickup to book. If you hand parcels in yourself, tick Drop off at the carrier. For parcels that leave or enter the EU, DSV gets an invoice built from your order lines. If you add your optional DSV tracking key, Zippendo fetches DSV's tracking updates about once an hour and shows them on the shipment. Without that key, shipments are not tracked in Zippendo.

How do I connect DSV XPress to my webshop?

Connect your shop to Zippendo first, then add your DSV XPress agreement. Zippendo has ready-made integrations for Shopify and WooCommerce, and any other system can send orders through the API. Your shipping rules then decide which orders go with DSV XPress, alongside carriers like UPS, FedEx and GLS on the same platform. See all integrations for the full list.

You need a DSV XPress account and a subscription to Booking - XPress on developer.dsv.com, which DSV approves. In Zippendo you enter its subscription key, the booking service key and personal access token from the API profile page of the XPress portal, and your account number. The tracking service key is optional, and DSV asks you to tell your DSV contact in writing that Zippendo sends shipments on your behalf.
