About DSV Road (DB Schenker)
DSV Road (DB Schenker) is the road network DSV took over from DB Schenker. It carries groupage, parcels, part loads and full truck loads between addresses in the EU, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and Norway, under the DB SCHENKER product names, and you book it with your myDSV account, formerly Schenker Connect. If your agreement is with the former DB Schenker, this is the DSV carrier to connect.
Why ship with DSV Road (DB Schenker) through Zippendo?
Zippendo is a shipping platform for webshops. You connect your own myDSV (formerly Schenker Connect) account once, and from then on your orders become DSV shipments without anyone entering them in the portal by hand. You keep your agreed prices, and DSV keeps invoicing you directly. Zippendo does not resell freight.
From a single parcel to a full truck
With shipping rules you decide once which product an order should use, for example DB SCHENKERparcel for parcels, DB SCHENKERsystem for groupage of parcels and pallets, and part or full loads for large orders. When an order matches, Zippendo books it with DSV and receives DSV's barcode labels as PDF or ZPL for a thermal printer.
Delivery options for freight
Every product offers home delivery to a private address, a tail lift, delivery notices by email or SMS, cargo insurance and cash on delivery. DB SCHENKERsystem, part loads and full loads also offer pallet exchange. A product that is not on your agreement is refused with DSV's reason.
Collection, customs and tracking
DSV collects every shipment as part of the booking, so there is no separate pickup to book. For shipments to or from the United Kingdom, Switzerland or Norway you choose who declares the goods to export and import customs. If you add your optional DSV tracking key, Zippendo fetches DSV's tracking updates about once an hour and shows them on the shipment. Without that key, shipments are not tracked in Zippendo.

How do I connect DSV Road (DB Schenker) to my webshop?
Connect your shop to Zippendo first, then add your DSV Road (DB Schenker) agreement. Zippendo has ready-made integrations for Shopify and WooCommerce, and any other system can send orders through the API. Your shipping rules then decide which orders go with DSV Road (DB Schenker), alongside carriers like PostNord, Bring and GLS on the same platform. See all integrations for the full list.
You need a myDSV (formerly Schenker Connect) account that DSV has set up for online booking, with its Connect access key, and a subscription to Booking - Connect on developer.dsv.com. A Tracking - Connect subscription key and a user group ID are optional, and DSV asks you to tell your DSV contact in writing that Zippendo sends shipments on your behalf. The DSV Road (DB Schenker) setup guide in our docs walks through every field.
