Yes. Every booking runs on your own PostNL API key and contract, at your own prices. We don't resell freight, so the shipping invoice keeps coming from PostNL.

Can my customers choose a PostNL pickup point at checkout?

Yes. When a shipping rule uses a PostNL pickup product, Shopify live checkout rates and the Zippendo WooCommerce plugin show nearby PostNL locations in the Netherlands and Belgium, and the order arrives with the one the customer chose.

Which countries can I ship to with PostNL?

Domestic and cross-border parcels within the Netherlands and Belgium, Parcel EU to other EU countries, and Parcel Non EU and International Mail & Packets to the rest of the world.

How do PostNL returns work in Zippendo?

Zippendo creates PostNL return labels for customers in the Netherlands and Belgium, and the Easy Return Service lets customers abroad send parcels back to you in the Netherlands.

Does PostNL handle customs documents?

Your Shopify checkout can show live shipping rates from your own shipping rules, including nearby PostNL locations, and the Zippendo checkout plugin adds the same pickup point selector to WooCommerce. The order arrives with the location the customer chose, and Zippendo books delivery to it.

Evening, same-day and guaranteed delivery

Dutch domestic parcels can go out with evening delivery (17:30–22:00), Today delivery when you hand the parcel over before 11:00, or guaranteed delivery before 10:00, 12:00 or 17:00. For small items, PostNL's 24-hour and 48-hour mailbox parcels fit through the letterbox, so nobody has to be home.

Labels and customs forms that book themselves

With shipping rules you decide once which PostNL product an order should use. When an order matches, Zippendo books it with PostNL and sends the label to your warehouse printer as PDF or ZPL. For Parcel Non EU and International Mail & Packets, Zippendo builds the customs declaration from the order lines, and PostNL returns the CN23/CP71 forms and commercial invoice with the label.

Returns and tracking

Zippendo can create PostNL return labels for customers in the Netherlands and Belgium, and with the Easy Return Service customers abroad send parcels back to you in the Netherlands. Every shipment gets its PostNL tracking number, and Zippendo keeps the status up to date as the parcel moves.

How do I connect PostNL to my webshop?

Connect your shop to Zippendo first, then add your PostNL agreement. Zippendo has ready-made integrations for Shopify and WooCommerce, and any other system can send orders through the API.
