About Porterbuddy
Porterbuddy is a delivery brand in the Instabee group that focuses on home delivery. It brings parcels to customers' homes in Norway, Sweden and Denmark and collects returns from the same doorstep. Porterbuddy has no parcel lockers or pickup points: every parcel goes to the door. Webshops book Porterbuddy through Instabee's Integration API, which is what Zippendo connects to.
Why ship with Porterbuddy through Zippendo?
Zippendo is a shipping platform for webshops. You add your Porterbuddy API key once, and from then on your orders become Porterbuddy shipments without anyone copying addresses into a carrier portal. You keep your Porterbuddy prices, and Porterbuddy keeps invoicing you directly.
Home delivery as a checkout option
With Zippendo's live checkout rates on Shopify and the Zippendo checkout plugin on WooCommerce, your shipping rules decide when Porterbuddy home delivery shows up at checkout and what it costs. Customers who want the parcel at the door pick it, and the order comes into Zippendo ready to book. Customers who prefer a pickup point can choose another carrier you have connected.
Coverage checked before you book
Before Zippendo books a Porterbuddy delivery, it checks with Porterbuddy that the customer's postal code is covered, and Porterbuddy schedules the delivery itself. If a postal code isn't covered, you find out when you book and can choose another carrier.
Labels that book and print themselves
With shipping rules you decide once which orders go with Porterbuddy, for example home delivery orders to Norway. When an order matches, Zippendo books it with Porterbuddy and sends the label straight to your warehouse printer, ready the moment someone packs the box.
Returns collected from the customer's door
With a Porterbuddy home return, Porterbuddy collects the parcel from your customer's address. The customer doesn't have to find a shop or a locker to send something back.
Tracking pushed from Porterbuddy
Every shipment gets its Porterbuddy parcel ID as the tracking number. Porterbuddy sends tracking events to Zippendo as the parcel moves, so the status updates without anyone checking it by hand.

How do I connect Porterbuddy to my webshop?
Connect your shop to Zippendo first, then add your Porterbuddy agreement. Zippendo has ready-made integrations for Shopify and WooCommerce, and any other system can send orders through the API. Once both are connected, your shipping rules decide which orders go with Porterbuddy, and you can ship with Porterbuddy alongside carriers like Bring, PostNord and Budbee from the same platform.
