Start a Make.com scenario when orders and shipments change in Zippendo, for example to fill a spreadsheet or update another system.
Product overview: Make on zippendo.com

Before you start

  • A Make.com scenario that starts with the Webhooks app’s Custom webhook trigger.
  • The webhook address from that trigger.
  • The Growth, Pro or Enterprise plan in Zippendo.

Events Make can receive

Every event Zippendo has:
  • Shipments: Shipment created, Shipment updated, Shipment sent, Shipment cancelled, Shipment error
  • Orders: Order created, Order updated, Order cancelled
  • Tracking: Tracking updated

Connect Make

1

Add a custom webhook in Make

Create a scenario, add the Webhooks app with the Custom webhook trigger, create a webhook and copy its address.
2

Open the catalog

In Zippendo, click Apps & integrations in the sidebar, then Catalog, and click Connect on Make under Apps. Read what Zippendo will do and click Continue.
3

Paste the address

Type a Connection name and paste the address into Custom webhook URL.
4

Pick the events

Tick the events that should start the scenario, then click Connect.
5

Teach Make the fields

In Make, click Run once. Then make a real event happen in Zippendo, such as creating a shipment, so Make learns the fields. A test event from the connection (the paper plane) only holds a short test message.
Every field and message is described in Connect Make.

After connecting

  • Turn the scenario on in Make, or new events will not run it.
  • Use filters and routers in Make to handle each kind of event differently. Use Automations when you would rather decide in Zippendo which events are sent.

Troubleshooting

  • The scenario does not run: check that the scenario is on in Make, and that the event is ticked on the connection. Then look at the delivery log on the connection (the plug icon).
  • Fields are missing in Make: run the scenario once again and send a real event after you change the scenario.
