Zippendo vs nShift

Shipping software you can price, buy and start the same day

Zippendo covers the ground an nShift deployment covers — delivery options at checkout, labels, tracking and returns — as one product with a price on the website and a signup button under it. No modules to scope, no quote to wait for.

nShift publishes no prices. The rows below reflect what their own site says — that pricing is tailored to the region and use case and arranged through their sales team.

Reason 1

You can find out what it costs without a meeting

The plans are on the pricing page with the numbers on them: DKK 599 a month for 2,500 shipments, 1,199 for 7,500, 1,799 for 15,000. You can sign up, connect a carrier and print a real label before anyone from Zippendo has spoken to you.

nShift's pricing page is a form. Their site says pricing is tailored to the region and the use case, and the way in is a conversation with a specialist.

Reason 2

One product, not five modules to scope

Delivery options at checkout, label creation, the tracking timeline, branded tracking pages, returns and the analytics across all of it are the same product on the same plan. Turning returns on is a setting, not a new line on a contract.

nShift presents its platform as five products — Checkout, Deliver, Track, Return and Audit — scoped and bought as such.

Reason 3

An API anyone on your team can pick up

The API is public, the spec is public, and the client libraries for TypeScript, Python, PHP, Go and Ruby are free and generated from that spec so they cannot drift from it. There is an MCP server too, so an AI agent can book a shipment or chase a tracking number for you.

nShift's integration surface arrives with the commercial agreement and its onboarding.

Where nShift is the better fit

If you need a carrier we have not integrated, nShift almost certainly has it. They connect over a thousand carriers across a hundred and ninety countries; we connect a deliberately smaller set, properly, with the Nordics at the centre. That is a real trade, and for a lot of large retailers it settles the question on its own. They are also built for a scale of operation we are not pretending to match yet — twenty thousand customers, a billion shipments a year, and the account management, SLAs and procurement machinery a retailer like Elgiganten or JYSK needs before it moves a single parcel. If your shipping is a programme with a steering group, an unsigned self-serve plan will not clear your risk review, and it should not. And if you are already years deep into their Checkout or Track configuration, the cost of moving is the configuration, not the licence.
